A selection of fan favourites return to Fortnite for Shadow of Phantasm week.

The Fortnite v21.50 patch is live and is rumoured to be the penultimate update of Season 3. But that doesn’t mean the content is slowing down by any means…

Unvaulted Items for Shadow of Phantasm week

Shhhh! Shadow of Phantasm week is all about stealth. To help you keep things sneaky, Epic has brought back a few very popular blasts from the past.

The Suppressed Assault Rifle, Suppressed SMG, Shadow Bombs and Shield Bubbles are all available in-game from 9AM until September 7. Use these Fortnite classics to complete special Quests and earn bonus XP before the Season 4 Battle Pass launches.

Unlike usual, each of these weapons and items will be included in competitive playlists. With no major tournaments remaining, this is a nice chance to try something fresh in Arena.

Additionally, while the Dragon Ball collab has ended, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud Mythic abilities will be staying for the rest of the season.

Late Game Arena

As announced earlier this week, Late Game Arena has finally returned. The beloved mode goes live at 8AM ET with some exciting changes.

The pre-selected loadouts will feature old Chapter 1 and 2 weapons, including the Legendary Pump Shotgun. There have also been adjustments to the spawning and first circle to help keep more people alive – stacked!

Starting on Thursday, Solo and Trio Late Game Arena Cash Cups and Quick Cups will run until the end of Season 3.

Health Bar Glitch Fix

This will be welcome news to the ears of all players. The bug which made your health bar display an incorrect value has finally been resolved, making fighting a whole lot easier.

Plus, the “Dedicated Button” fire mode option for mobile is no longer broken. Untick the option in your settings to automatically hide the dedicated fire button in-game.

Imposters Mode Removed

After a long, successful spell, the Imposters Creative mode has been vaulted. Imposters was an Among Us-style social deduction game inside Fortnite, complete with proximity chat.

The minigame had a lot of loyal fans who will be disappointed to see it go, but no doubt it will be back again at some point in the future.
