Fortnite $100k+ PlayStation Cup August 2022: Dates, Qualifiers & Free Spray

It’s that time again! The monthly Fortnite PlayStation Cups continue with Epic Games announcing another huge tournament for August 2022.

There’s a total prize pool of $116,750 up for grabs in this Solo event, and just like July’s Cup, you’ll need to qualify for a spot in the Finals!

August PlayStation Cup Schedule

Qualifier 1 – August 25

Qualifier Details & Free Spray

Only the Top 50 players from each Qualifer will progress to Finals. As a unique twist, Qualifier 1 will feature Wild Storm Solos, a new game mode with a speedier early-game and reworked Storm behaviour.

Qualifier 2 and Finals will both be played on the standard competitive Battle Royale game mode.

Anyone who scores at least 16 points in Qualifier 1, or 8 points in Qualifier 2, will unlock the Ripple-Pop Spray for free.

11th - 15th: 11 points

41st - 50th: 2 points
51st - 75th: 1 point

Each Elimination: 1 point (2 points in Finals)

Which devices can play?

The PlayStation Cup is exclusively available to PS4 and PS5 users. If you play on a different console, look out for another Console Champions Cup next season.

Other eligibility requirements include enabling Two-Factor Authentication and having an account level of 50 or higher, which you can check in-game via the Career tab.
