New leaks suggest that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3’s Console Champions Cup will be the biggest yet!
Details from an upcoming Epic Games blog post were recently shared by @iFireMonkey on Twitter. They show that this season’s Console Champions Cup will feature a second event, and double the prize money.
Here’s what to expect:
Console Champions Cup – Zero Build: August 13-14
Console Champions Cup – Building Enabled: August 19-21
Each tournament will occur across four rounds, and boasts its own $250,000 prize pool. Additionally, they are both Duos competitions, so find a teammate and get practicing early!
The leaderboards are already up on our site, so you can see exact start and end times for your region. Links below:

That’s about all we know for sure based on the tweet. We’ll update this article with further details once Epic’s announcement goes live.
However, expect a lot of things to be similar to previous events:
For example, these Console Champions Cups are generally available to players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
You’ll be trying to score as many points as possible by outlasting enemies and racking up eliminations. Only the top performing teams on each region will progress to the next round.
By Finals, just 50 Duos per region will remain. This means you’ll be coming up against the same teams every match. Strategize well, this is where the prizing is distributed.
Zero Build Arena is available now for a limited time!

Grab your Shockwave Grenades and shield up with your trio, because it’s time to climb the leagues.

Now this bit’s important – You and your partner normally need to be Champion rank in Arena to take part. With Zero Build Arena being added earlier this week, it may well be the same for the Zero Build Cup.
So, it’s probably worth choosing your duo and starting the Arena grind now. Hype is separate for standard Arena and Zero Build Arena, so if you want to play both Console Champions Cups, you’ve got double the mountain to climb.
Again, that isn’t confirmed until the official rules have been published. We’ll keep this post up to date with all the latest information, so be sure to check back soon!
