New Fortnite Season 8 Teaser Promises Dragons

The third Fortnite Season 8 teaser points to dragons hatching from the eggs in Polar Peak.

With so much going on in Fortnite, it can be difficult to keep track of it all. Wailing Woods is burning, cracks are opening up all over the map, and we recently heard news of a pirate theme for Season 8.

One of the things that were lost in the shuffle was the dragon eggs found in the dungeons of the castle at Polar Peak. Well, the newest Season 8 teaser reminds us that the dragon eggs are still down there, and they're probably gonna hatch.

People first started to discover the dragon eggs back in January, but Season 8 was still well down the line at that point. A lot more has happened since then - including the Ice King covering the whole map with snow for a spell.

Now, though, we have some confirmation that the dragons will be hatching and playing a role in the next season. If I were to guess, I would say these dragons might have something to do with planes being vaulted when the season begins.

Planes - as irksome as they can be - are fantastic sources of mobility in Fortnite. Could dragons swoop-in and replace planes as a mode of aerial transportation?

The fact that planes can shoot and ram people is extremely annoying. If dragons provide mobility without the other aspects that everyone hates about planes, they could end up being a decent addition to the game.
