Fortnite is celebrating its 5th birthday in style with another in-game event. Earn free rewards, chomp down a slice of cake, and more!

Next week marks 5 years since the launch of Fortnite Battle Royale. What started as a fun experiment for the developers quickly took the gaming world by storm and catapulted Fortnite to the forefront of mainstream culture.

Each year since, Epic has thrown a party in-game to let players join in with the festivities. With Chapter 3 Season 4 now in full swing, 2022 is no different – here’s what’s coming.

Fortnite 5th Birthday Event 2022

Fortnite’s 5th Birthday celebrations will run from 9 AM ET on September 23 until 9 AM ET on September 27.

As usual, we can expect a new souped-up Battle Bus blaring the Happy Birthday song. Plus, Birthday Presents stuffed with rare loot, and health-giving Birthday Cake will be littered around the map.

Not enough party vibes for you? Balloons have also been unvaulted, so you’ll be floating up to highground in no time.

Players can earn a selection of goodies for their Fortnite locker by completing special Birthday Quests.

The Birthday Quests will be available via the Quests page starting 9 AM ET, September 23. Here’s what’s up for grabs:
