Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite PlayStation Cup for September 2022.

The Fortnite PlayStation Cup is back for another month and features an even bigger $230,200 prize pool. Qualifiers start very soon so get those hands warm!

When Is the Fortnite PlayStation Cup September 2022?

The next Fortnite PlayStation Cup will take place across September 22, 23, and 25.

This time around, there will be two Qualifiers. One of which will feature the new Wild Storm Solos mode, with a faster early-game and reworked Storm behaviour.

Schedule

September 22: Qualifier 1 (Wild Storm Solos)

September 23: Qualifier 2 (Battle Royale Solos)

September 25: Finals

PlayStation Cup Format

Each Qualifier will last 3 hours, with players able to complete up to 10 matches. The top 50 from Qualifier 1 and top 50 from Qualifier 2 will progress to Finals – this will be 6 matches in a set lobby format.

Points will be awarded for both placement and eliminations based on the scoring system below.

Victory Royale: 30 points
2nd: 25 points
3rd: 22 points
4th: 20 points
5th: 19 points
6th: 17 points
7th: 16 points
8th: 15 points
9th: 14 points
10th: 13 points
11th - 15th: 11 points
16th - 20th: 9 points
21st - 25th: 7 points
26th - 30th: 5 points
31st - 35th: 4 points
36th - 40th: 3 points
41st - 50th: 2 points
51st - 75th: 1 point

Each Elimination: 1 Point (2 Points in Finals)

Additionally, anyone who earns at least 8 points during either of the Qualifiers will unlock the Blue Stryker Sprint Spray for free.

Entry Requirements

Unsurprisingly, the Fortnite PlayStation Cup is only open to players on PS4 and PS5 devices.

There’s no minimum Arena rank for this tournament, however you will need to have Two-Factor Authentication enabled. You must also be account level 50 or higher, which you can check via the Career tab in-game.
