Fortnite v21.51 update: Dragon’s Breath Shotgun & Primal Flame Bow unvaulted + more

The Dragon’s Breath Shotgun and other popular weapons return in Fortnite’s v21.51 update.

Here we are. The final patch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is live. Watch out, things are about to get spicy!

Last week’s v21.50 content update saw the temporary return of items like Shadow Bombs and the Suppressed AR for Shadow of Phantasm week. Now these Fortnite classics make way for another set of Chapter 2 favourites.

Dragon’s Breath Shotgun is back for Fire with Fire Week

Fire with Fire Week starts at 9AM ET, September 7, and runs until the same time on September 13.

Here is the full list of unvaulted items:

• Dragon’s Breath Shotgun

• Primal Flame Bow

Each of the weapons above can be found in Chests and as floor loot. Additionally, Firefly Jar spawn rates have been increased.

Not a fan of all this fire? Epic has also added Chug Cannons to Chests and floor spawns to help you combat the heat.

If you need to lock in some extra XP before the Season 4 Battle Pass launches, you’ll be able to work through a series of special Quests. These will be available under the “Fire with Fire Week” section on the Quests page.

Will the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun be in Arena?

For now, the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun will not be included in competitive playlists.

In fact, none of the changes from Fire with Fire Week will affect Arena or tournament matches. However, you can still get your hands on a Legendary Pump Shotgun in Late Game Arena to switch things up a bit.

Cosmetics

Unfortunately, there were no new skins leaked in the v21.51 patch.
