Two entertainment giants will collide as Dragon Ball enters the Fortnite universe.

Fortnite is famed for its vast catalogue of collaborations with iconic global brands. Over the years we’ve seen the likes of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and more leave their mark on the Island.

According to recent leaks, legendary Japanese media franchise Dragon Ball could be next on the list. Here’s everything we know so far:

Fortnite x Dragon Ball release date

Much of the information surrounding this crossover comes from Fortnite leaker @MidaRado. They claim to have a source who also correctly shared details on the Chapter 3 launch and event time, plus Naruto Part 2 cosmetics.

Mida has suggested that the Dragon Ball collab will go live towards the end of August, after Epic staff return from summer break. This means that any date after August 8 is possible.

Dragon Ball Fortnite skins

So, what can we expect from Fortnite x Dragon Ball? A lot, it looks like, and as always, this includes the chance to play as popular Dragon Ball characters in-game.

There’s set to be four new Outfits in total, which will likely be available via the Item Shop both individually and in bundles. Right now, we know who three of them will be:

  • Goku

  • Vegeta

  • Beerus

Kamehameha ability?

But it’s not just skins. An exciting new leak following Monday’s v21.30 patch revealed that Goku’s signature “Kamehameha” attack will be added to Fortnite in some form.

The leading theory is that it will be a Mythic ability. However, it could also an Emote, LTM, or something different entirely.

More leaks

Fortnite x Dragon Ball will be accompanied by plenty of special quests, and you’ll even have the opportunity to unlock free rewards.

Additionally, there’s a “special place codenamed preheat” and a “Stamina Container” bottle in the files.

It seems like Epic is putting a lot of effort into this partnership, it’s going to be big!
