Check out this month’s top Fortnite streamers. Some of them may not be who you expect!

Almost four years on from its initial explosion, Fortnite remains one of the most popular games on Twitch. In the last month alone, it amassed nearly 69 million hours of watch time. We can expect this figure to climb a whole lot higher after this weekend’s Ariana Grande Rift Tour event.

Today we’re going to look at some of the hit Battle Royale’s current top streamers, based on a few different criteria. The data in this article is taken from Twitch stats and analysis website SullyGnome.com and is based on the past 30 days.

Watch Time

Firstly, a shout out to the non-English language creators. G2 Esports’ “Jelty”, who streams in Spanish, was number one globally in terms of Fortnite watch time, while Brazilian pro “Blackoutz” clocked in at third place. Icon Series star “Grefg” ranked second for average viewers, with “Amar” also having yet another strong month.

The most-viewed English account was TSM “Ops”, which isn’t too surprising considering he was live for 700 hours (Yep, it stays on while he sleeps). He’s been on his grind; playing the game, hosting viewing parties and even running his own tournaments - accumulating over 2 million hours of watch time.

Behind Ops came World Cup champion “Bugha”, who also secured the highest peak viewership for the month, reaching 83,003 sets of eyeballs at once during his Icon Series Outfit announcement.

After being removed from the official broadcast earlier this season, fan-favourite commentator “AussieAntics” committed to streaming viewing parties for as many events as possible. He’s stayed true to that promise, and as a result sits in the third spot, netting more than a million hours in watch time.

Average Viewers

Seem like some big names are missing? That’s because they haven’t been live as much; at least not on Fortnite. However, that all changes when you compare average viewers instead.

Despite only streaming 27 hours of Fortnite in the past 30 days, controller legend “Nickmercs” holds the title for highest average viewer count. He tends to sign in just for Cash Cups and FNCS, but the MFAM don’t mess around… 33,549 was the average number of people in his Twitch chat. “TimTheTatman” also logged a 33,300 average, though that was from a single 2-hour session.

Next up is FaZe “Mongraal”. Undoubtedly one of the most entertaining pros for both gameplay and personality, it’s no shock that Mongraal enjoyed an average viewer count of 18,460 during this last month.

Finally, this list wouldn’t be complete without “Clix”. Many would consider him the top Fortnite streamer of the past year, but for various reasons he hasn’t been as active recently. Nonetheless, for the 54 hours he was live, Clix held an impressive average viewership of 17,986.

Of course, all these stats change very quickly and don’t include other platforms, meaning we miss out on huge players like “Lachlan”. Who will take the crown next month? Let us know on Twitter @FortniteTracker.
