Thrill seekers beware… Fortnitemares has descended on the Island bringing all types of fun and despair!

Fortnite patch v22.20 is live, marking the beginning of the Fortnitemares 2022 Halloween event. There’s plenty of content to sink your teeth into, from gameplay changes to fresh cosmetics.

Firstly, you can expect the usual spooky Battle Bus music and jump-scare zombies. Plus items like the Pumpkin Launcher and Candy make a return.

Fortnite Howler Claws

Mythic Howler Claws

Head over to the Reality Tree to enjoy a supernatural set from DJ Lyka. His music is said to have transformative effects.

Hop onto an Alteration Altar and perform the Ritual Emote when prompted to be granted the new Mythic Howler Claws.

The Howler Claws grant a few special abilities. Track enemies with the Wolfscent ability, unleash a petrifying melee combo with Slash, or use Air Slash to perform a double-jump that damages opponents you land on.
