It’s that time again! Hop off the Battle Bus and into the Fortnite PlayStation Cup this weekend.

After Microsoft apparently trolled Xbox Fortnite players with a ‘fake’ tournament last month, console rivals Sony have stepped back up. Having just run a major event for their fans in January, they are already providing another opportunity for PlayStation users to compete for cash.

The next Fortnite PlayStation Cup is right around the corner! Taking place February 11 and 12, PS4 and PS5 gamers will battle it out for a share of $107,100.

Format

Expect two rounds of Solo competition, with prizes up for grabs in the second stage. In Round 1, players can complete a maximum of 10 matches in a three-hour period, earning points for placement and eliminations.

Only the top 100 people in each region will then progress to Round 2. Here they will play another 6 matches, with money going to those who rank highest on the leaderboards.

Unfortunately, there will once again be no PlayStation Cup for Asia. Additionally, players in Japan are ineligible to take part altogether.

While there is no minimum Arena Division requirement for this tournament, your Epic Account must be at level 50 or above. You will also need to enable Two-Factor Authentication before searching for your first match.

With so much going on right now for the PlayStation gang, Xbox and mobile Fortniters will be getting desperate for more platform-specific events.

Full details and entry requirements can be found in the Fortnite PlayStation Cup Official Rules.
