We're only a few days away from the Cattus/Doggus event that will likely put an exclamation point on Season 9 and usher in Fortnite Season 10. Cattus has been spotted again, this time with a close-up view.

Season 9 of Fortnite still has a few more weeks left, but the countdown timer tells us the final event of the season is only a few days away. The Doggus robot is nearing completion at this point, but what's going on with the Cattus monster?

Attentive Fortnite players are continuing to spot the monster circling the island. Apparently, all this time in the water has done nothing to melt the iceberg holding the Polar Peak castle to its back.

With previous images and videos, the monster seemed a bit small when compared to the massive Robot under construction at Pressure Plant. A new video uploaded to Reddit shows just how big this monster is, though.

I just now finally got to see the "Cattus" monster for myself. Caught him coming up from the NW part of the map. from r/FortNiteBR

We still haven't seen what the monster looks like apart from its eye and footprint. We have to assume it's some kind of aquatic creature, though, based on how long it's been living in the ocean surrounding the Fortnite map.

The final event is set to take place this weekend, and a large chunk of the current Fortnite map will likely be in jeopardy. This is going to be a huge fight, and the locations caught in the path of the Monster and Robot are unlikely to slow them down very much.

We've made our predictions on which areas of the map will be decimated. What do you guys think? Let us know on Twitter @FortniteTracker.
