Epic Confirms Fortnite x Futurama Crossover

Fortnite fans are in for a treat as Epic Games has announced a collaboration with Futurama, the popular animated series created by Matt Groening. The crossover will bring Futurama characters, items, quests and more to the Chapter 4 Season 3 Island of Fortnite.

The Fortnite x Futurama event is scheduled to launch on July 26, 2023 with the v25.20 patch. Epic Games has released a teaser video titled “All Hail Hypnotoad” that showcases a Hypnotoad on a MEGA City billboard. The video also includes a YouTube link that is counting down to the release date of the event.

This collaboration marks the comeback of Futurama with its eleventh season, ten years after the show ended. Futurama has a loyal fanbase that loves its clever jokes, iconic characters, and creative portrayal of a futuristic world where technology and aliens abound.

The Fortnite x Futurama event will allow players to experience the world of Futurama in Fortnite. Players can expect to see some familiar faces from the show, such as Philip J. Fry, Bender, Leela, Zapp Brannigan, and Professor Farnsworth.

The event may also feature some event-related quests where players can interact with the Futurama characters and complete various tasks.
