Fortnite fans can swing into action with the new Web Battles event, a collaboration with the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The event lets players choose between two teams, Team Miles and Team 2099, and compete for exclusive rewards based on their favorite Spider-Man.
The event runs from May 18 to May 22 and players can sign up for it by logging in to their Epic Games account on the Fortnite Web Battles site. Once they choose a team, they can earn points for their team by getting eliminations in Battle Royale or Zero Build mode. The Fortnite team with the most points at the end of each daily battle will win an Emoticon featuring their chosen hero. The losing team will get nothing.
All Fortnite Web Battles Quests and Rewards
To earn points in Fortnite Web Battles, players have to complete a different task each day. Luuwani, a reliable Fortnite leaker, has revealed all the event challenges:
- Eliminate opponents (one point each)
- Deal damage to opponents (one point for every 100 damage)
- Restore your shield (one point for every 100 shield)
- Deal critical damage to opponents (one points every 100 critical damage/headshots)
- Survive Storm Circles
Players can earn a Spidey 2099 Logo Spray by choosing a team, and a Spider-Ham’s Mallet Pickaxe with a built-in Put ‘Er There Emote by earning 40 points over all five daily battles. The Pickaxe is based on the character Spider-Ham, a pig version of Spider-Man who will appear in the movie.
Players can switch teams once per day until 8 hours before the end of each battle. The Web Battle daily reset takes place at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 AM BST. Therefore, players should make their final choice by 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST.
