Fortnite x Coachella 2023 Event Coming Soon With Free Rewards

Leaks have revealed an upcoming collab between Fortnite and Coachella. Players will be able to earn free cosmetics by completing special challenges.

The annual Coachella music festival returns to California this month, headlined by Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean.

We’ve seen Coachella celebrated in Fortnite previously, with a collection of themed skins. Now it looks like there’s more coming for 2023. Here’s what we know so far:

Fortnite x Coachella Event 2023

The Fortnite x Coachella event will run from April 13 to April 23. During the event, players can visit the Fortnite x Coachella website and complete tasks to unlock the free Coachella Island Loading Screen.

This new site isn’t live just yet, but popular dataminer @iFireMonkey did a little digging and discovered that there are separate tabs for Week 1 and Week 2 – this suggests more challenges will be available for Week 2, potentially with other rewards or XP up for grabs.

It’s likely that the existing Coachella Outfits will return to the Item Shop, and we’ll hopefully get some new ones for the event too. They may be designs that we’ve seen in recent player surveys, or even based on concepts from the community.

Also, leakers previously found a “Coachella Music Pack” in the files which never got released. Unless it’s been fully scrapped, this should drop alongside any other fresh Coachella cosmetics.

Expect Epic Games to make an official announcement closer to the time with further details about the event. If you’ve been waiting to buy the Coachella skins, it could be a good time to pick up some V-Bucks!
