Incoming video alert! Ceeday is back on Fortnite – for now at least.

It’s been eight months since YouTube sensation William “Ceeday” Wilson last uploaded a video, and before that, it was another year-long wait for fans.

However, in a recent Instagram Story, Ceeday hinted that a return is coming very soon. The Story simply shows an image of two Fortnite characters, with the caption “Should be ready Friday”.

So, we can expect new Fortnite content on Friday, but what will it be?

As predicted by popular leaker @HYPEX, we’ll likely see Ceeday trying out Fortinte Zero Build for the first time. He’s previously referenced “sweaty players” as a reason for stepping away from the game, so maybe this new mode will be more enjoyable.

After starting out in Destiny, Ceeday shot to stardom during the early days of Chapter 1. His hilariously edited Fortnite uploads all receive multiple millions of views, despite the many extended hiatuses.

It’s not all love though. Some viewers accuse the gamer of “using” his community, saying that he will only post when he needs money.

Regardless of the truth behind this narrative, no creator is under any obligation to their supporters to make content or stick to a schedule.

In his last video, “Chapter 3 No Way Home”, Ceeday talked about global issues including COVID-19, BLM, and civil war, coupled with the state of Fortnite, being responsible for his absences.

He also added that he will not stop until he hits 10M subscribers on YouTube. Right now he’s at 7.3M, so will need to keep working to hit that goal.

Whatever your personal opinions are on Ceeday, one thing is for sure; when he releases a new video, millions of people are going to watch it.

Perhaps if the Zero Build test goes well, he will get back into uploading more regularly. I wouldn’t hold your breath though…
