As usual Fortnite data miners got to work hunting for leaks as soon as downtime for the v11.50 patch went live, but they found something that I can safely say no one was expecting.
Alongside the usual selection of leaked skins and cosmetics, Fortnite leakers came across something very odd in the most recent update files. Data miner Fire Monkey took to Twitter to share the incredibly odd “Agent Meowscles” event sound file.

After further investigating this peculiar meowing noise, Fire Monkey discovered something else. When the audio file is put into a spectrogram, you can clearly see the shapes of a cat and a dead fish.

What exactly this means has everyone puzzled. Perhaps a sign of a particularly odd event coming to Fortnite, or maybe just a troll. Are we being catfished?
