Mysterious countdown appears at Risky Reels

Players are reporting that a timer has appeared on the screen at Risky Reels, and it seems to be counting up…

This all started when popular Fortnite data miner “Lucas7yoshi” discovered a change inside of the game files. He tweeted that “the bool (true or false0 for “RiskyReelsStreaming” was just set to true”.

Shortly after this, players started to find the timer in game. Screenshots have been shared on both Twitter and Reddit, at first people were suspicious but more and more users have now begun to post their own evidence.

According to Reddit user Banana_man13, the timer is on a two minute loop. Other users are reporting that the llama image and countdown are also appearing on the various TVs around the map, similar to occurrences previous seasons.

Fortnite fans are starting to make their guesses at what it could all mean, with the leading prediction being a live stream for Children in Need. This is a U.K. charity event scheduled for tomorrow (11/15/19). We will be keeping our eyes peeled, so stay tuned for any updates.
