u/MHouseEpic describes the update to “include new content for Save the World and addresses some known game issues.” Downtime will begin at 4:00 AM EST (0800 UTC), but that really only matters for all you late-night/early morning gamers

When prodded for details, Epic specifies “known game issues” to be in relation to game performance. We’ve already covered the issue - and it seems like Epic finally did as well. u/JShredz, an Epic employee, said “Our engineers have identified and implemented some pretty solid performance wins in tomorrow's update, let us know if your experience is improved!”

“Even more importantly, let us know if you're still having issues after the patch (and what triggers them if they're consistent)” he continued, replying to the thread. Apparently the community was elated by the previous communication as dozens of users spammed “nice” and “w” in the comment section
