A new Fortnite bug prevents farming while using a bush

A new Fortnite bug involving the bush leads to an inability to farm. Use at your own risk.

When the Bush was first introduced to Fortnite, it was a stealth-only weapon. New players used it for a while, but it quickly became one of the most useless items in the game.

The Bush had a gold rarity and was far more of a drawback than a benefit. It was difficult to see through and easy to spot, defeating the purpose of ever using it.

A few updates later, Epic made a change to the bush that made it far more relevant. Not only did they make the effect more transparent, but they also added the ability to tank one bullet while in bush form.

Now, you can withstand a sniper or shotgun shot while wearing a bush, meaning it's a must-use in high-level competitive play.

In high-level Arena matches and tournaments, the difference between life and death can often come down to one shot. The Bush is huge for these modes, and there's hardly any drawback to using one.

That is until this bug started popping up. Windowshypers posted a video to Reddit that showed the inability to farm while in a Bush. He was farming normally until he put it on, and then everything acted as though he was in Tilted Town.

It's a shame to see such a bug happen with a tournament this weekend. The Bush has become a crucial component of competitive play.

This bug doesn't seem to be an every-time kind of thing, but it's probably not worth the risk for most players.
