Ninja's split with Twitch seemed amicable at first. The streamer handled it professionally, but Twitch removed his subscriber button, promoted other channels on Ninja's page, and eventually promoted a porn stream.

Ninja has been the most transcendent Twitch star in history. His channel was the biggest on the platform at one time as he broke through to the mainstream and became a household name.

Everyone knows who Ninja is. He's one of the only streamers that non-gamers will recognize. He might not have put Twitch on the map, but he was a part of the reason the platform has had so much recent success.

As many Fortnite fans know, Ninja made the switch to Mixer at the beginning of Fortnite Season 10. He made his announcement on Twitter and shot to the top of the Mixer rankings as soon as he went live.

Ninja and his camp handled the move professionally at every turn. We didn't see any clips of Ninja trashing his former platform, even though they were making some petty moves behind the scenes.

Twitch removed Ninja's sub button immediately after he made the announcement. A few days later, they were using his channel as a "recommended" page for other streamers - something they never do for a streamer who is offline.

Over the weekend, though, the decision to spam Ninja's channel with streamer promotion backfired in a huge way.

You see, Twitch was promoting the top Fortnite streams on Ninja's channel. One user decided to stream porn with the Fortnite tag. For around two hours, this was the most viewed "Fortnite" stream on Twitch and the first recommended channel on Ninja's page.

Understandably, Ninja was upset about this. He took to Twitter to finally speak out against Twitch's behavior.

Since his Fortnite fame, Ninja has always had a young fanbase. He made conscious efforts to tone-down his swearing for a long time and makes sure to slap the "After Dark" disclaimer on his stream when he's going to revert back to his H1Z1 days.

Keemstar of Drama Alert said that he spoke to Ninja, who claimed he was speaking with his lawyers about his next move.
