Competitive Fortnite players are always looking for an edge. This new strategy allows you to phase through boxes from the top once you secure the cone.
Competitive Fortnite players are always finding new ways to get into each other's boxes. Whether they're trying to wall-replace or using a new weapon "exploit," they will find anything that falls within the game's mechanics.
We didn't cover this when it came out, but Moqii on Twitter found a way to use the Flint Knock pistol to phase through the wall on an opponent's box by jumping and shooting.
So heres a new way to get into someones one by one EVERYTIME. it works on people with 0 ping. pic.twitter.com/GuUti9bzfS

More recently, DestinysJesus - the same player who taught us all the ways to use the Proximity Grenade Launcher in competitive - released a new phasing exploit that doesn't require any specific weapon.
For this one, all you have to do is secure the cone, edit it into a ramp facing you (this also works when you're underneath a ramp), jump, and pickaxe the opponent's ceiling.
The force of your jump into the cone or ramp above you will push you down and allow you to phase through the turbo-build of your opponent.

Unlike the Flint Knock method, this strategy appears to be reliant on your ping. Someone with high ping likely won't be able to pull this off against a low-ping opponent, but that's not necessarily a fact.
Phasing through builds and wall-replace methods are way too flukey to stay in competitive Fortnite. Epic needs to address these issues if they truly want to make their game competitive.
In the meantime, abuse away.
