Ninja expressed his frustration with the scheduling of the Celebrity Pro-Am as it relates to the Duo World Cup qualifiers.

The Fortnite World Cup is the biggest tournament in eSports history. The $30,000,000 prize pool is the largest purse the sport has ever seen, and nearly everyone who is serious about the game is trying to qualify.

It's clear that the World Cup is more than just an eSports tournament. This is historic, and something that a lot of streamers and pro players have been grinding to qualify for.

Ninja is one of those streamers, and he and his partner Reverse2k have been playing in every duo qualifier trying to secure their spot in New York City.

The final weekend of qualifiers for World Cup Duos is June 15 and 16, the same days as the Summer Block Party. The qualifying finals will happen on June 15 - the same day as the much-anticipated Celebrity Pro-Am.

Scheduling Conflict

While streaming on May 3, Ninja and Dr. Lupo discussed this scheduling conflict, which led to Ninja saying he was trying to get out of the Pro-Am.

Ninja is set to compete with NFL legend Marshawn Lynch. He will be defending his Pro-Am title, which he won last year with Marshmello.

Ninja isn't the only streamer/pro player who is frustrated with Epic's seemingly clueless scheduling. Cloakzy and his teammate Tfue haven't qualified as a duo team either.

Both Tfue and Cloakzy are set to participate in the Celebrity Pro-Am, along with players like SypherPK and Nick Eh 30 who have also been trying to qualify for the World Cup every week.

Cloakzy has expressed frustration with the scheduling both on his stream and on Twitter.

As Cloakzy says, the viewers at home who are trying to qualify will lose out as well. They won't be able to play their games and enjoy the Pro-Am at the same time, meaning the top-level of players will likely miss the premier event of the Summer Block Party.

The qualifying spots for regions in the World Cup also makes things more complicated. Most of the top players play on East servers most of the time, which means there are usually three spots on NA East and one spot on NA West.

Even if all of the players participating in the Pro-Am play on West servers, only one of them will be able to qualify.

It's way too late to reschedule the Celebrity Pro-Am at this point, but Epic could push-back the last week of duo qualifiers as Cloakzy suggests. Knowing Epic, though, it's unlikely that they'll do so.

Hopefully, this doesn't lead to any popular streamers like Ninja, SypherPK, Nick Eh 30, Tfue, or Cloakzy backing out of the Pro-Am.
