Fortnite v29.01 patch notes: All you need to know!

It's been almost two weeks since the start of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, and now we're getting the first update of this cycle. It's not a huge content update, but there's still plenty to talk about. In version 29.01, we get a new themed weapon, some new items, and the foundation for some big updates in the future.

New items

Fortnite Lego and Rocket Racing UEFN framework

LEGO is coming to creative soon, and you can monetize maps

Fortnite is already making LEGO versions of more BR Weapons & Items for the upcoming LEGO Creative. They're also porting over some mechanics from BR like getting knocked & revived, etc..

UEFN modes for LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing have been talked about for a while, and this update sets the stage for them, even if they're not officially out yet. In the next update, or sometime later, players will be able to make their own maps in LEGO Fortnite and create custom tracks in Rocket Racing.

New LTM: "Midas Presents: Floor is Lava"

• "Ascendant Midas" can be earned for FREE via a Solo Cup on the 24th
• "Ascendant Midas" skin releases on March 26th
• Free cosmetics out now with the "Rise of Midas" quests
