Get ready for a wild weekend of Fortnite competition courtesy of FaZe Clan!

With just a couple of weeks remaining until the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 FNCS begins, things are starting to heat up. Luckily, we have the perfect event to whet your appetite.

FaZe Clan has announced the return of its annual Elite Cup in partnership with Practice Server. They’ve teamed up with Hulu original series “Solar Opposites” to offer a whopping $50,000 in total prizing.

There will be both a Solos and Duos tournament, each with a split of the money. Top pros from the NA region will be invited directly to Finals, but there’s also a qualifier for future stars to earn their spot.

Schedule

Qualifiers – July 1 @ 3PM PT / 6PM ET

Solo Finals – July 2 @ 3PM PT / 6PM ET

Duo Finals - July 3 @ 3PM PT / 6PM ET

Prize Pool

Solos - $10k

Duos - $40k

Currently we have no further details regarding the qualifiers. There doesn’t appear to be any option to register, so they may well only be open to certain groups of players. We will keep this article updated with the latest information.

What we do know is that you’ll be able to catch all the action live on both the FaZe Clan and Practice Server Twitch channels. Expect a high-quality production with commentary from popular Fortnite casters.

Additionally, viewers will have the chance to win some sweet FaZe merchandise! Giveaways will run throughout the broadcast, with entries available via Twitch chat and Discord.

Last year’s Elite Cup saw Slackes, Jahq, and Acorn taking first place, during a period where they were almost unstoppable as a Trio. The 2022 edition is sure to produce more exciting moments and will serve as an interesting preview of the upcoming FNCS.
