Twitch Rivals doesn’t miss when it comes to production, so you know this is going to be crazy!

Earlier today we learned that Fortnite’s fan favorite No-Building mode was becoming a permanent fixture with the introduction of Fortnite Zero Build. This news delighted many players who have been enjoying the game more than ever for the past week.

Well now Epic Games have taken things even further, announcing a new series of Zero Build tournaments in partnership with Twitch Rivals.

The Twitch Rivals: Creator Series ft. Fortnite Zero Build boasts a total prize pool of $450,000 across all events, and will feature some of Fortnite’s most popular streamers.

Here’s what to expect:

Twitch Rivals Creator Series: Kick-Off

The action begins on April 2 and 3 with an invitation-only Zero Build event. Creators from Europe, North America, and Latin America will take part, each region fighting for a share of their own $100,000 in prize money.

You’ll be able to catch all the excitement live on the official Twitch Rivals Twitch channel.

The show then continues with five Fortnite creators hosting their own Zero Build tournaments, all with their own unique format and $10,000 prize pool. Alixxa, Pgod, Nick Eh 30 and Sommerset are confirmed to be involved, with a special mystery guest rounding things out in May.

Finally, a selection of “current legends and new names” will face off in the Grand Finals. Yet another $100,000 will be on the line, and you won’t have to miss a moment thanks to the official broadcast.

It’s exciting to see Epic experimenting with these Zero Build tournaments in a way that clearly distinguishes them from the normal competitive offering. Hopefully this can win the attention of a whole new audience, and potentially even lead some people to explore Fortnite esports further.
