Today was the last day of the #Faze5 journey. Here’s what went down

The #Faze5 journey was a wild ride for content creators and competitive Fortnite players alike. Today was the year-ending finale that saw 5 players -- and one special extra -- experience a life changing moment

Faze Clan announced the five winners on consecutive days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve with today being the last of the bunch. NA-West’s very own Faxuty was the first to join

An unexpected twist came day two when Faze Clan reached into the previously untapped Middle East region to sign Virus. Day three met in line with fan’s expectations after picking up Flea, the creative warrior from down under

With so much talent with only two slots left, players were becoming increasingly anxious that their pick wouldn’t make the cut. All the Niorooch fans out there were quickly relieved yesterday to find out that their man didn’t miss the train

The previous Nickmercs Fortnite duo and controller goat excels at many FPS shooter games nowadays. From here on out, he will be repping the red and black alongside his longtime friend

That all leads us to today where one last person will round out the fifth and final spot of the Faze 5 challenge… or so we thought. Faze Clan had such a tough time deciding who was worthy for the 5th spot, they ended up signing 6 players

First announcement was for K1ng, the Brazilian prodigy who smashed all expectations at World Cup 2019. K1ng’s 5th place finish, good for $900,000, was just a precursor to his monster of a career

Some OG Faze fans were left slightly disappointed that longtime Faze grinder and trickshot aficionado Scp didn’t get rewarded for his dedication. They too got a late christmas gift after this announcement

Decked out in a whole new set of sponsored gaming peripherals, a true Christmas miracle happened for this lad. In addition, all signees will receive a $20,000 signing bonus and a multi-month endorsement contract with GFUEL

The #Faze5 marketing strategy was a huge success considering the millions of interactions every tweet and Instagram post was garnering. Faze using their giant media presence to uplift medium sized creators while selling premium ads around the holiday season is a win-win in my book

I’m looking forward to what these new Faze members will do with their now larger platforms and team backing them. Best of luck in 2021!
