Next week, Fortnite fans have the chance to earn the new “Verve” Emote for free whilst learning about an important social issue.
Following the success of the first We The People showcase earlier in the month, a second instalment will soon be taking place.
This time around, broadcast journalist and television personality, Cari Champion, will host a series of conversations about voter suppression in Black communities.
Guests include Baseball star Jason Heyward, rapper and activist Bun B, former Basketball pro turned sports analyst Jalen Rose, actress and comedian Yvonne Orji and rap artist Russ.
As with last time, the event will be broadcast via Fortnite’s Party Royale playlist. Following the first showing on July 28 at 7:00pm ET, We The People will then re-air every other hour for 22 hours.
All players attending the in-game showing of We The People in Fortnite on July 28 and 29 will receive the free Emote, Verve, as a special gift! This Emote was modeled after the dance submitted by Michael Mejeh, the winner of the #EmoteRoyaleContest. pic.twitter.com/TSoSAyqiPi

To thank people for attending, any player who logs into Fortnite between 7/27 8pm ET and 7/29 8pm ET will receive the Verve Emote for free. This new dance is based on the winning entry from the #EmoteRoyaleContest by Michael Mejeh.
Technically you don’t have to queue into the event to unlock the Emote, however, if you can make it to one of the showings it is sure to be worth the watch. See you at the Big Screen!
