Having taken some time away from Fortnite to try other games, Ninja made a return following the Travis Scott Astronomical event. However, it wasn’t long before he was reminded why he left!

Global gaming icon Tyler “Ninja” Blevins rose to fame as the face of Fortnite, but hasn’t been having too much fun on the game as of late. The Mixer star has been playing a lot of Call of Duty: Warzone, and after a particularly stressful Valorant session, decided to hop back onto the Battle Bus for some Victory Royales.

Ninja was hoping for some chill Duo matches with streaming buddy Ali “SypherPK” Hassan, but the good vibes didn’t last too long. After Sypher was taken out from 200m away by a pair Heavy Snipers, Ninja was left to deal with an onslaught of spray from Brutus’ Minigun.

Following the subsequent fit of rage, Ninja admitted “I hate that I complain so much” but his disappointment that these sort of overpowered weapons still exist was too much. He explained that there was no problem with snipers before the Heavy was unvaulted, saying, “It was in such a good spot”.

It seems like Ninja may need to take another break from Fortnite after this experience. Summing up his first game or so back he told viewers, “It’s so bad, it’s not fun, I don’t have fun, that’s not fun, getting heavy sniped isn’t fun”. Unfortunately, I think Ninja’s feelings about the current meta reflect that of the wider community. We can only hope that Season 3 tones it down a bit in the overpowered weapons department.
