The second special Limited Time Mode in the Fortnite Spy Games series has released, here’s what we know about Operation Knockout.
With Season 2 following a clear secret agent theme, Epic Games have been trying something a bit different with the in-game LTMs. The Spy Games seem to be made up of various weekly operations, each offering a unique mode, focused around securing intel for either team Ghost or Shadow.
Last week, things kicked off with Operation Dropzone. This mode saw two large teams fight to capture intel from supply drops. This intel would help them to level up, unlock new tech and ultimately reach the 150 Elimination Goal for the win.

Well now, Operation Knockout has arrived! This time around, things work a little differently. The official description is as follows:
“Compete to earn Intel in a four-round bracket squad battle! The squad with the most eliminations at the end of the round moves on. The squad that wins the 4th round wins the match and earns the most Intel, unlocking new Tech to use in this and other “Operation” modes”.
Unfortunately, first impressions of this new LTM don’t seem to be too positive. Players are complaining that unless you load in with a full squad, you have no chance of winning. Many fans are already asking for Operation Dropzone to return instead.
