In a move to promote development on top of our existing resources, we have released the first iteration of Power Rankings API
To all developers out there, you now have access to our Fortnite Tracker Power Rankings! Unprecedented access and ability to create tools with our infrastructure is now possible. Head over to our documentation to get started
What information does the Power Rankings API provide?
As of now, the Power Rankings API is fairly simple. Input what player, region, and platform you want to fetch data from and get the results. As of now, all inputs will send back the following information:
Points: Player’s current PR points
CashPrize: Player’s current cash prize winnings (lifetime total)
Events: Player’s event participation total (where they received any points)
Rank: Player’s current PR rank in inputted region/platform
Percentile: Player’s percentile compared to the inputted region/platform
What can I do with the Power Rankings API?
Short answer: anything you want! Meaningful data points can turn into even more meaningful information - with a little bit of love. Communities can now automatically filter competitive players by their Power Rankings. Macro-data analysts can find competitive trends not previously known. The possibilities are honestly endless here
Note, the current rate limit for this API is 90 requests per minute. To most, this is more than enough. If your project/community exceeds this limitation, please contact me on Twitter for assistance
We look forward to finding out what you make! Tag us in your creations and we’ll promote your project on Twitter
