Although there is no content update this week, Epic Games have quietly dropped a maintenance patch to resolve a few of the in-game bugs and errors.

We weren’t expecting anything major from Fortnite this week, as the potentially game changing v11.50 update is likely to come some time next week. However, the developers have just released a small patch to address some of the key “known issues”.

Most notably, Ziplines have returned to the map, and some irritating editing bugs have been resolved. You should now be able to edit whilst looking straight down and no longer unintentionally edit other pieces through your floor piece. They also confirmed that the issue involving accidentally picking up a knocked teammate when trying to switch to your pickaxe will be adressed in a future release.

The full list of fixes are as follows:

General

Goalbound Set Outfits have number in front instead of back.

The issue involving difficulty scrolling/selecting Friends in the Social menu will be resolved in a future release.

Battle Royale

Ziplines temporarily disabled due to issue. (PLEASE READ UPDATE.)

Can't edit structures when looking straight down.

Unintentionally editing building pieces through floors.

The issue involving picking up DBNO teammates when trying to switch to the Pickaxe will be resolved in a future release.

Creative

Particles and Beacons can no longer be customized/interacted with. (PLEASE READ UPDATE.)

Some featured Islands are missing in-game description. (PLEASE READ UPDATE.)
