All Signs Point to An Official Fortnite 'Zone Wars' LTM

New Fortnite leaks point to challenges and rewards for an official Fortnite Zone Wars LTM.

Zone Wars has quickly become one of my favorite ways to play Fortnite. I love playing it with my friends or with random players, but there are several elements of the Zone Wars experience that are incredibly annoying.

Playground Fill is one of the most infuriating ways to find a Zone Wars match. I play on an old Xbox One, which means I'm never going to be the first person to load into the Creative Hub.

Unfortunately, it seems like no-skins who want to play Red vs. Blue always load in before me. If not, it's Desert Zone Wars with outdated items and weapons that don't help in the current state of Fortnite.

The good news is that all signs point to a new Zone Wars LTM coming to Fortnite. We'll finally have updating loot pools, and optimized map, and realistic Storm progression.

Gain Health or Apply Shields in Zone Wars
Build structures in Zone Wars
Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles in Zone Wars
Deal damage to opponents with Shotguns in Zone Wars
Get eliminations in Zone Wars matches
Play Zone Wars matches

This new list of leaked challenges for Zone Wars may be the biggest piece of information we have about an official mode coming to Fortnite.

The Zone Wars game mode will likely be an LTM - similar to the limited-time modes we've seen in the past. These challenges perfectly line-up with some of the leaked cosmetics we saw ahead of the v10.40 patch: a new Back Bling and Spray.

This combination of leaks is enough to confirm that Epic is - at the very least - strongly considering a Zone Wars LTM. At this point, the only reason they won't add will be the result of a last-minute bug or change of heart.
