Fortnite X It: Balloons Are Coming Out of the Sewers in Fortnite

Fortnite crossover events are nothing new, and it looks like we're about to see the Fortnite X It crossover based on in-game clues.

Epic has been churning-out high-profile partnerships ever since their first Fortnite X Avengers crossover.

Since then, we've seen a second collaboration with Marvel along with several other events that tie Fortnite to John Wick, Jordan Brand, Borderlands, Stranger Things, and more.

According to some in-game clues and data mined game files, it looks like the Fortnite X Pennywise event is set to coincide with the release of It: Chapter 2.

If you've landed at one of the popular towns in Fortnite like Pleasant Park or Paradise Palms, you may have noticed some balloons popping out of the sewers.

By themselves, these balloons might not mean much. Epic Games loves its crossovers, though, and It: Chapter 2 is right around the corner.

Red balloons popping out of the sewers mean only one thing: Pennywise is coming to Fortnite.

This isn't the first news we've heard about a Fortnite X It crossover, either. Data miner Hypex found some files that revealed a laugh that sounds eerily familiar.

All of this points to Pennywise entering the Fortnite world in some sort of crossover event. This event might even have something to do with a rift beacon, opening a portal to Derry, Maine.

As far as skins we'll get with this event, Pennywise is a no-brainer. There aren't a ton of iconic characters from It other than the clown, so we'll probably only see him with an emote or two.
