Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has arrived, confirming the rumours: This season dives deep into Greek mythology. The Battle Pass features characters like Zeus and Aphrodite, while the Battle Royale Island has been revamped with iconic mythological locations. Players will also be able to wield new super-powered mythic items, as well as an updated loot pool with new weapons and weapon mods. Let's explore further!

New Map Locations!

Battle Royale Island now features four new locations inspired by ancient Greece and its mythology. These include Mount Olympus in the sky, the Underworld deep underground, and a gladiatorial arena called Brawler's Battleground. It's not an entirely new map, but the additions represent a significant change.

Battle Pass

It's time for the Greek-themed extravaganza in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. This season's battle pass fully embraces its theme, reminiscent of the all-Marvel battle pass from 2020. The battle pass features eight skins, as usual, along with several emotes and dozens of other rewards.

The lineup of skins includes seven Greek gods, along with a collaboration with the beloved series Avatar: The Last Airbender, featuring Korra. Korra can be unlocked later this season as the mid-season bonus character. The complete lineup includes:

  • Cerberus
  • Aphrodite
  • Poseidon
  • Medusa
  • Zeus
  • Artemis
  • Hades
  • Midseason skin: Korra (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

Cerberus kicks off the season as the first unlockable skin, available immediately upon purchase of the Battle Pass. As you progress through the season, you'll meet the mighty Greek gods and goddesses, from the lords of thunder, sea and the underworld to the embodiments of beauty and the hunt. And then, of course, there's Medusa, who's not a goddess but possesses an equally fearsome power.
