It wasn’t just stretched resolution being removed in the latest Fortnite maintenance patch, they also resolved some other bugs from the v12.00 update.
The official Fortnite Community Issues Trello has been updated to display the “Known Issues Addressed by February 25, 2020 Maintenance Patch”. The changes are as follows:
Battle Royale
Issue with editing while sprinting - With the release of the February 25, 2020 maintenance patch, this issue has been resolved on all platforms.
Reports of Aim Assist performing inconsistently
Corrupted Scratch Outfit style shows no corruption in Lobby - With the release of the February 25, 2020 maintenance patch, this issue has been resolved on all platforms.
Losing controller input in Maya's Upgrade Vault
Also, we're aware that players' Flair style of the Y0ND3R Outfit may have been locked upon the launch of v12.00.
Console players will be glad to see that they can get back to editing at full speed. Popular Fortnite creator “RazorX” has been asking for this issue to be resolved since day one of Season 2, and was especially disappointed when it was first fixed only for PC users.
Are they just not gonna fix this editing glitch? I know I’m tweeting about it a lot but I just can’t figure out why they fixed it in a few hours for PC and it’s been like 4 days on console with no fix ?

People using linear aim assist were saying that it felt different since the beginning of the new season, but this update suggests that it will now be functioning as intended. Of course, without patch notes we can’t be too sure exactly what that means.
