Nhyrox ends multi-month free agency drought after signing with M10 Esports

M10 Esports is the up-and-coming multi-platform Esports organization owned by world renowned footballer Mesut Ozil. On the field, Ozil wears an Arsenal jersey. Off the field, he leads an Esports organization. Today, M10 Esports made a huge lunge towards competitive Fortnite, acquiring World Cup Duos champion Nhyrox in the process

A little more info on who Emil “Nyhrox” Pederson is:

  • World Cup Duo Qualifier AND Winner

  • Qualified for FNCS Trios & Squads finals

  • Placed 4th at Australia Open, behind Breso and Symetrical

  • Has been a free agent since August after leaving COOLER

You could’ve stopped reading the list after I said “Duo World Cup Champ.” This guy has one of - if not the most stacked resume in all of Europe. Getting signed to a team for Nyhrox was a matter of “when” and not “if”

… and it looks like the “when” is today and the who is M10 Esports. Although M10 is more popular in other Esports genres, this deal marks a large investment for the team. Here’s M10’s full Fortnite roster as of today:

Let’s be real here - M10 didn’t house any prominent names. After signing Nyhrox, however, they now have the roster of a tier 1 org to match the brand. The real question is - what did they have to pay? We may never know the exact number, but it’s obvious that “bubble orgs” have paid exuberant amounts to sign top talent

Just a few days ago, information regarding the contract of Oceania’s top dog Parpy just got leaked. According to RBK_Concealed, $50,000 was the cost for a non-tier 1 org to recruit tier 1 talent. Only in this case, it can be argued that Nyhrox is more than tier 1 talent. I wouldn’t be surprised if he penned a deal that pushes six figures

Congrats to both M10 and Nyhrox, I am excited to see where this goes!
