Team Liquid breaks Mitr0’s multi-month free agency in today’s announcement
Mitr0 was considered one of, if not the top free agent in all of Europe. After negotiating his way out of Team Atlantis in September 2019, the big questions were: who would pick up the goat and how long would it take?
Today we're parting ways with @mitr0.

Good luck in all that comes your way in the future and keep making history in Fortnite! ??
?? THANK YOU MITR0 ??https://t.co/1M0bvMCRpI pic.twitter.com/YfCPFAATY2
Well - I guess we have the answer to both of those questions now. Team Liquid, who has been heavily investing in the Fortnite comp scene isn’t hitting the breaks just yet
Please welcome, @mitr0 ??

This announcement is also quite historic as this is Liquid’s entry into European Fortnite. Until now, they haven’t had any active players outside of the United States NA-East and NA-West regions. Does this mean Liquid is shaping up to pick up even more European players? Those answers will similarly come with time
We previously predicted that Mitr0 was one of the top free agents in the globe. In fact, this video predicts that Mitr0 was the 2nd most desirable free agent, closely behind UnknownArmy for the top spot
Interestingly, Liquid seems to be ahead of other organizations when it comes to investing in Battle Royale. Since the beginning of the year, it’s Team SoloMid, Ghost Gaming, Flyquest, and Counter Logic Gaming who all made substantial moves to divest in BR during Q1 of 2020. The lack of demand makes now a better time than ever for a top org such as Liquid to jump in and sweep all the talent in the world

Tell us a bit about yourself, what got you into Fortnite and what made you want to play it competitively?
What got me into fortnite was one of my irl friends that told me about it, I played 1 game just when battle royale got released and thought it was a shit game so I didn't play it for like a month, then came back on it and started playing it everyday. What got me in competitive was the first customs that were hosted in a private Epic games server and after that I placed 1st in blitz showdown, this got me invited to the skirmish.
What does it mean to you that you now represent Team Liquid, being from the Netherlands, the place where Team Liquid was founded?
I'm really excited to join, it always was a dream for me to be in Liquid and now i'm actually here.
You’ve played Fortnite competitively for quite a while now and had a lot of great results through 2018 and 2019, what is your goal for 2020?
My goal for 2020 is to be at least top 3 in the Power rankings and just do good in every event doesn't matter what game mode.
