One of the key minds behind Fortnite has had his Twitter account hacked, so don’t believe everything you see.

Donald Mustard is a prominent figure in the gaming industry, and holds the position of Worldwide Creative Director at Epic Games. He plays a significant role in the bigger picture Fortnite decisions and is often known to drop sly hints about what is to come on his social media pages.

A group calling themselves the “chuckling squad” have managed to hack into Mustards Twitter account and are releasing a string of posts. They have also outed themselves by adding their usernames to his profile and hoping to gain followers. I won’t share the names to avoid giving them the attention they are craving.

Some people have already been tricked by what they believed to be legitimate tweets about the rumoured and highly anticipated prospect of a Winter Royale event. Unfortunately, this is still not confirmed in any way.

Hopefully, Mustard will soon be able to regain control of his account and remove the toxic posts from his page. Maybe he could even give us some clues about the Christmas period whilst he’s at it…
