The first deaf female Twitch partner and Faze Clan member Ewok surely hinted it in a mysterious Twitter video
Ewok, who only recently turned 14 years old, burst into the scene in early 2019 after heavy exposure from other platform influencers. Most notable of the bunch was TimTheTatMan, who added some much needed fuel to the fire and kick-started her career
Today, she’s the one kick-starting things... whispers and speculation across Twitter. That is, after posting this video
— FaZe EwOk (@Ewok) November 14, 2019
For those too lazy to watch, the video shows her painting a wall with pink and blue paint. It’s not clear what she is painting exactly, but that didn’t stop the community (and us) from investigating
Take a look at the color palette she uses throughout the video. Hot pink, cool blue, and a mix of the two colors. Now take a look at Mixer’s logo
A stretch? I don’t think so. Mixer has been on a poaching spree, acquiring Ninja, Shroud, and Goth over the past few months. Some of the platform’s top performers snatched from the grasp of Amazon’s owned Twitch. Mixer certainly had to pay top dollar for them, so how much more would it really cost to acquire one of the youngest talents on Twitch?
Ewok’s teammate Faze Sway joined in on the fun, half-jokingly asking if she is moving to Facebook’s live streaming platform
It wouldn’t make much sense for Ewok to not be joining Mixer after this Tweet, unless her goal was to jebait the entire Fortnite community. If so, mission accomplished
The news cycle comes full circle once again to the main point that streamers are getting paid. As previously reported, Amazon (Twitch), Google (YouTube), and Microsoft (Mixer) are all fighting in a pseudo-proxy war for dominance over the live streaming scene. They need as many influencers in their corner when the dust settles to even have a chance at holding the crown
Do you think Ewok is moving to Mixer? Who will win the live streaming war? Tell us your opinion on Twitter!
