The scheduled weekly update has been abruptly delayed hours before it was supposed to drop
If Fortnite has been consistent at just one thing, it’s dropping a new patch every week. Weekly content updates or bug fixes has been a norm for the battle royale shooter game since blowing up in early 2018. Tonight, however, the next patch won’t be rolling out

The announcement was met with a typical Epic hate train. “Why, Epic??” one lonely Twitter user posted. It got 3 whole likes, for the record
More importantly than a patch delay is the lack of concrete patch notes. Ever since Chapter 2 launched, the usual page where patch notes were found is no longer being updated. It all started when Epic left “patch notes” alongside the release of chapter 2… I put “patch notes” in quotations because there’s no information

Notable community figures such as SypherPK, Nickmercs, and even Ninja chimed in and all came to the same conclusion: we want patch notes. Hopefully Epic can regress to their previous status quo so I don’t have to see “#PatchNotes” spammed on my Twitter feed every day
