We should all have a new starter pack available very soon and it looks awesome! Also, upcoming “alter ego” challenges have been leaked and we have some insight on this season’s secret skin.
The Wavebreaker Pack
It seems that a new starter kit, called “The Wavebreaker Pack” is now available in the Fortnite store for the Australia and New Zealand region. This means that the set will most likely be available to all players within the next 24 hours or so.

As usual with Fortnite “starter packs”, the Wavebreaker Pack must be purchased with cash rather than V-Bucks. These packs give you an opportunity to grab some new items and V-Bucks at a lower price than usual. The pack consists of the Wavebreaker Outfit, Dry Bag Back Bling, Swell Striker Pickaxe and a tasty 600 V-Bucks.
Leaked “Alter Ego” Challenges
When looking through the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 Battle Pass you may have noticed that some of the skins had alter egos, for example, Rippley vs Sludge. These are similar to the unlockable styles available in previous seasons, where you have to complete challenges to acquire the alternative style options. Up until now, the only “Alter Ego” challenges showing had been based on levelling up.
Now however, Fortnite leaker “FireMonkey” has discovered a list of new challenges. They include “Sink the 8 ball at the giant pool table while wearing the 8-ball outfit” and “Heal a teammate with a Bandage Bazooka while wearing the Remedy outfit”.

There are also rumours circulating of a possible contender for this season’s secret outfit. One leaked challenge reads “Do the thing wearing the Bane outfit”, there is currently no “Bane outfit” available which would lead you to believe that this is a skin coming later. However, what “do the thing” means is slightly more cryptic.
