Although Fortnite’s v11.01 patch didn’t feature any glamorous new items, some crucial bug fixes were rolled out that you should be aware of
Epic Games decided to take a low-key approach towards the v11.01 update by only listing the changes on their Trello board. Since they really only addressed the most pressing bugs during week 1 of Chapter 2, it makes sense in a way. Regardless, here are all the changes:
General
Reports of FPS issues on PC.
Friends not appearing in the Friends List.
Battle Royale
Unable to use swapped-to item when character is backed up against camera.
“Ready Up!” button not appearing in Squads matches until entire party is eliminated.
Issue with “Get an elimination from 50m or further” Open Water Challenge.
Daily Punchcard remaining on-screen.
Gift wrap missing for gifted Battle Passes.
A bunch of miscellaneous touch ups with the main fix being a much anticipated performance enhancement. But did Epic really fix the poor server frames and latency? The players think so

As downtime ended, my Twitter feed was met with a line of spam from various pros and content creators hailing Epic for “fixing fps.” Since my investigative journalism has no bounds, I decided to check things out for myself and make sure that everything is smooth sailing

Yep, feels way smoother! Oh and all those other bug fixes are cool too, I guess. Was your performance also improved? Tell us all about it on Twitter
