The downtime for Fortnite patch v10.30 has been announced. Take a look at the announcement as well as what to expect in the patch notes.
Epic has announced the downtime for v10.30. Here's when it will happen and what to expect.
Downtime Announced and Cash Cup Delayed
Break out of your shell!— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) September 10, 2019
The v10.30 update arrives tomorrow. Downtime will begin at 4 AM ET (0800 UTC).
The official Fortnite account Tweeted that the downtime for v10.30 will start at 4 AM EST tomorrow morning. The patch will likely be a sizeable one and will require a download. We can expect servers to be up around 5-6 AM.
Due to the timing of the new patch, the Cash Cups for Asia and OCE will be pushed to Monday, September 16.
What to Expect
As far as what the patch will bring, we can expect the Pandora area to shift back to normal - or possibly transform into Moisty Mire.
There's also a Rift Beacon on the ice rink above Greasy Grove. Most players assume this will melt the ice and return the fan-favorite POI to the game.
We can also expect several bug fixes, including a fix to the bug that forced Epic to remove Ziplines.
As far as new content, we don't have too much on that front.
We were expecting a Fortnite X It crossover event to start tomorrow, but that might be out the window at this point. The balloons are gone, so Epic could have abandoned their collaberation.
Epic hasn't announced any new items, either, which could be a welcome break. It's about time that Epic focused on balance updates and bug fixes rather than pushing out yet another new item.
