Epic may need to take a look at Stinks in Fortnite

Stink Bombs are one of the most powerful items in competitive Fortnite. It might be time that Epic considered a nerf.

I'll start this by saying that Stinks fill an important role in Fortnite. The competitive meta is to limit risk, which means most players sit in a box and take pop-shots at people who are rotating.

At this point, skilled players box-up quickly and prevent opponents from finishing them. Stink Bombs help neutralize this strategy, and force players to move out of a single box.

I don't think Epic should vault Stinks, but they might need to take a look at them. Things like this shouldn't happen.

Zexrow might want stinks vaulted from r/FortniteCompetitive

For those counting at home, Zexrow was hit by 13 stinks in that fight. This is a professional player who can't tunnel his way out of an endless barrage of Stink Bombs - and this is in a public match.

Stinks are far more popular in competitive Fortnite than they are in public matches, which means more players will have them. I think it's about time that Epic took a look at this item, and I'm not alone.

Reducing the stack size or amount of damage they do seems necessary at this point. There are a lot of good suggestions in the comments of this thread. Most of them revolve around reducing the drop and/or stack number of the Stinks.

I don't have all the answers, but Stinks are overpowered in their current state.
