A new Rift Beacon has been spotted in the desert biome. That means only one thing: the return of Moisty Mire.

After the explosion at the soccer stadium, the Visitor - assuming he's the one behind these Rift Beacons - has moved onto a new part of the map.

If you've logged into Fortnite since the content update on August 21, you may have noticed that a new Rift Beacon has sprouted up. This one is located just outside of the gas station next to Westworld.

We've heard rumors of Moisty Mire's eventual return this season. Now, it appears as though Epic is preparing us for a reunion with our old, swampy friend as early as next week.

It's unclear how much of Moisty will return and how much of the desert biome will remain. Paradise Palms is one of the most popular locations in the game right now, and a lot of players would be disappointed if Epic traded that for Moisty.

There is a world where both POIs could exist, though. The swamp was huge, so Epic could bring Moisty back without the whole biome attached.

The real question is: what is the Rift Beacon going to do this time? Low gravity? No building? Zombies? Nothing at all?
