A new Fortnite leak shows some upcoming map changes that involve melting snow, a moving meteor, a forcefield around Dusty Depot, and a new object entering the Fortnite map.

Season 10 has been out for a week now. Many fans expected the map to change substantially at the end of Season 9, but we didn't get near as many alterations as we thought.

Once the data miners started looking at the game files, though, we started to get the sense that more was coming. We heard about Tilted Town, along with some other locations that may be coming back in future updates.

A new leak from @Hypex shows some map changes that will likely be coming with the 10.10 update next week.

We can see the snow melting around parts of the map, the meteor in a new location, and a forcefield popping up around Dusty Divot.

The forcefield we can see is likely in place to prevent the meteor from hitting Dusty Depot like it did the first time around.

The presence of this field raises a concern, however. Fans have been speculating that the new Fortnite locations will have no-building zones as Tilted Town does. It would be a huge mistake for Epic if they went in that direction.

I'm guessing that this area will have a gravity effect like the one over Loot Lake - if any effect at all.

The melting snow is a fantastic indecation that Greasy Grove is coming back. Fans have been yearning for Greasy since it was removed a few seasons ago, and Season X seems like the perfect time to bring it back.

The one thing in this image that we can't identify is the "weird object" Hypex points out. In a follow-up tweet, he said it looks like a broken Slipstream, but it could be anything at this point.

Even though Fortnite Season 10 has been disappointing thus far, Epic has a chance to right the ship with some map changes in future updates.
