The Fortnite Pro-Am has concluded, with Airwaks and RL Grime taking home the victory for the second consecutive event. Take a look at the final standings and recap of the whole Pro-Am here.

The third Fortnite Pro-Am is in the books and saw RL Grime and Airwaks take home the win for the second event in a row.

The games were stacked, with some of the biggest names in Fortnite competing for charity donations.

It might be time to dismember this two-time championship team. RL Grime is clearly one of - if not the - most skilled pros in any Pro-Am lobby. To pair him with a World Cup competitor seems a little unfair.

Game 1

Game 1 started quickly, as players were just getting their feet wet in the game. This game seemed to be much more aggressive than the other three.

Ninja and Marshmello sat at Pressure Plant and got picks for most of the game, including on TimTheTatMan who Ninja shot out of the sky.

The story of the first game, though, was Sin0oh and Oh.King, who took the high ground and kept it for the entirety of the end-game. They got a ton of kills from their position and closed out the game with an easy win.

At the end of the first match, Sin0oh and Oh.King were sitting at the top of the leaderboard with 23 points. Reigning champs Airwaks and RL Grime were behind them with 14.

Game 2

Game 2 started a bit slower than the first game. Tfue killed Sin0oh later in the match but that wasn't enough to knock him too far down the rankings.

Myth popped-off the entirety of the match, playing most of it without his partner. It's awesome to see how comfortably Myth has gotten in the LAN format since his first showing at the Ninja event back in the day.

At the end of the game, the last three alive were Tfue, Cloakzy, and Jacob. We were moments away from a Tfue vs. Cloak 1v1, but Tfue died to the storm and Jacob killed Cloak from behind.

In the post-game interview, Cloak admitted that he was confused about where the storm was going, so he didn't wall-off his back. Jacob took advantage and killed him for the win.

Game 3

Game 3 was the slowest we had seen so far. There were a couple of kills in the early game, but the mid-game went dry leading to a hectic end-game that triggered the Storm Surge.

Nick Eh 30 killed Tfue, then TimTheTatMan got focused by the entire lobby before dying.

Sin0oh, who was in second place, killed first-place Airwaks who still hadn't secured a win.

Cloak came in second place for the second time in a row, dying to the storm in a fight with Jelty, who took home the victory.

The standings at the end of game 3 didn't change too much. The top ten were:

  1. Airwaks & RL Grime
  2. Sinooh & Oh.King
  3. Jelty & Gaborever
  4. Cloak & Witt Lowry
  5. Jacob & Clare Grant
  6. Myth & Michael Drayer
  7. Tfue & Nav
  8. Sean O’Malley & CourageJD
  9. NickMercs & Mario Hezonja
  10. Ninja & Marshmello

Game 4 and Results

Game 4 started quicker than game 3, but not by much. MrFreshAsian secured five kills in Salty Springs before being eliminated by Jelty, who emoted on his corpse.

Karma almost hit Jelty directly in the face, though, as MrFreshAsian's partner, Desmond Chaim, jumped up and chunked Jelty with a shotgun shot.

Ali-A terrorized Lonely Lodge before storm-pushing another player and dying. All things considered, Ali-A performed pretty well in this event.

Tfue used some crafty nades to kill Witt Lowery, who was playing with Tfue's duo partner Cloakzy.

Airwaks, the leader and eventual winner of the event, killed Ninja and padded his lead.

The end of the game saw a 2v1 of Marksman and JT Brown against Ghost Aydan, who didn't stand a chance from the low-ground.

Airwaks and RL Grime take home the ultimate championship for the second Pro-Am in a row - all without every taking a Victory Royale.

It might be time to break up this duo. RL Grime is clearly too skilled to be paired with a World Cup qualifier like Airwaks.
