Take a look at who the leading sportsbooks in the country think will win the Fortnite World Cup Pro-Am, Solo, and Duo competition. We have all the odds, as well as which selections we think presents the best value.
The Fortnite World Cup is set to Kick off this afternoon with the Creative World Cup and Pro-Am later in the afternoon.
Bovada, one of the leading online sportsbooks, has provided odds for the Pro-Am, Solo, and Duo competition. Take a look at who's favored to win each event, as well as the other odds involved.
Pro-Am Odds
The Pro-Am is set to kick off at 4:00 today, July 26. Bovada doesn't have odds on everyone, but they have some of the larger names in the competition.
The biggest standouts are undoubtedly Ninja/Marshmello and Airwaks/RL Grime, who have both won the competition before. If you're looking to bet a favorite, I'd recommend going with Airwaks and RL Grime as they've won the most recent Pro-Am.
Apart from that, it's a bit of a dart throw. Some other Fortnite pros who could be carrying their partners to victory include Ghost Sean, Ghost Aydan, and Tfue - although you probably already knew that.
I'd stay away from betting the Pro-Am if I were you. That's like betting on the NFL All-Star Game. Players care, but not as much as they will in the other events.
Duo Odds
The Duo competition kicks off on Saturday, so we'll start there. Tschinken and Stompy are the favorites to win, with some of the best odds in the competition by far. Next up is Benjifishy and MrSavageM who have both showed-out in their qualifiers, followed by Mongraal and Mitr0.
If it were me, I'd be putting Saf and Zayt at number one. Both competitors have shown how skilled they are in a LAN competition, which is really what matters here.
A lot of the competitors who qualified - especially from the EU region - haven't had a ton of LAN experience. The edge definitely goes to NA players in that regard, as this region has held the most LAN events by far.
Other Odds
Region of Winner
- North America: -125
- Europe: EVEN
- Asia: +1700
- South America: +2000
- Oceanic: +3300
Most of the competitors are from NA and EU, giving them the best chances of winning. NA players - as a whole - have more experience in the LAN format, which clearly gives them the edge, here.
Will a player from and organization win?
- Yes: -175
- No: +135
Organizations have been scooping-up players left and right ahead of the World Cup. I have no idea the percentage of competitors who are signed to organizations, but most of the top-ranked players in the competition are. "Yes" might be free money at this point, even if the value isn't really there.
You can always hedge with a small bet on "No," just to cover your losses.
Controller vs Keyboard/Mouse
- Controller: +1800
- Keyboard/Mouse: -7500
There are far more keyboard and mouse players than controller players in this competition, which means there's a ton of value on the controller side.
You can bet $20 on controller to win $360, which is massive. The chances are small, but if you can part with $20 it's definitely worth the risk.
Solo Odds
Tfue is the favorite to win according to Bovada, but he probably shouldn't be the top contender. Sure, he's qualified multiple times, but so have a few other people on this list.
Although Tfue's odds should be up there, he probably only gets the top spot because he's the most recognizable name in the competition. Apart from that, the top half of the odds look pretty accurate with people like Bizzle, Dubs, MrSavageM all around +1000.
As far as real value picks, I'd be looking at people like Megga, Reverse2k, Kreo, and Funk. Apart from that - as far as I'm concerned, at least - the rest of the field is a shot in the dark.
Other Odds
The same logic applies to the Solo odds as they do in Duos.
There are more players from NA and EU than anywhere else, but NA players have a LAN experience advantage.
Keyboard and mouse players far outweigh controller players, but betting on controller players presents some incredible value.
More players are in organizations than aren't, so you have far more of a chance betting on an org to win. That is unless you think Tfue will take it home.
