Fortnite 14 Days of Summer started on June 25 and brought back the LMG for players to use. What else are we going to see during this event?

The v9.30 content update brought us a ton of welcome changes. The Pump is back, and we have some new challenges to complete for the 14 Days of Summer event.

Part of 14 Days of Summer includes the 24-hour unvaulting feature. Epic is unvaulting a new weapon every day, starting with the LMG on June 25.

That begs the question: What else will Epic add back into Fortnite?

Before we get into the most and least likely weapons/items that will come back to Fortnite, let's take a look at all of the weapons and items that are eligible for a return.

We are not including recently vaulted items on this list, as they are probably not coming back in the next two weeks.

  • Burst Assault Rifle

Most likely unvaultings

Let's take a look at five of the most likely additions to Fortnite during the 14 Days of Summer event.

Port-a-Fort/Fortress

The Port-a-Fort has been out of the game for a while now. It served a unique purpose as well - two points which make one or both of these items prime candidates for a return during the 14 Days of Summer.

Sure, players know how to build a lot better these days. Still, I think it's likely that we'll see one of these items return during the two weeks of unvaultings.

Guided Missile

Guided Missiles were never a favorite of the Fortnite community. They were overpowered for a time, then extremely underpowered to the point where no one used them.

Vaulting the Guided Missle was an easy decision at the time, but it was one of the more unique weapons Epic ever implemented. I'm guessing we'll get a chance to try it again during the 14 Days of Summer event.

Burst AR

The Burst AR was a staple of Fortnite when the game first came out. It wasn't long before everyone hated the weapon, though, and Epic eventually removed it over time.

I'm guessing we'll see the Epic and Legendary variants of the Burst come back to Fortnite in the coming days. This gun is a classic, so it makes sense for Epic to unvault it during 14 Days of Summer.

Heavy Shotgun

The return of the Heavy Shotgun has been being teased since the start of Season 9. You can even see one of the characters holding the weapon in the Season 9 promotional image.

Attentive players have noticed that the Heavy Shotgun went through some changes not too long ago in Creative Mode, which put it into a position to return to the game.

The only real question here is whether Epic will add it for a day during the event or bring it back to Fortnite full-time.

Hunting Rifle or Bolt-Action Sniper

The Hunting Rifle was only just vaulted, so Epic might not be too keen on taking it out of the vault just yet. Still - out of all of the snipers - this one filled the most individual role. Some players even preferred it to the Bolt-Action or Suppressed snipers at the time.

If Epic doesn't bring back the Hunting Rifle, I'm guessing they're going to add another ranged weapon like the classic Bolt-Action Sniper or the Thermal AR.

Other likely additions

  • Grappler
  • Jetpack
  • Tactical SMG
  • Bouncer
  • X-4 Stormwing
  • Balloons
  • Crossbow
  • Smoke Grenade

Least likely unvaultings

Here are a few items and weapons we probably won't see coming in the next two weeks.

Infinity Blade

Not too much on this one. Everyone hated it and thought it was a terrible idea. I really think Epic saw the error of their ways with the Infinity Blade, and aren't eager to remind fans of their mistake.

Plus, where are they going to put it? Polar Peak is in shambles.

Sneaky Snowman

This one was clearly a seasonal item. There's little chance we'll see it again before winter hits. There aren't any other snowmen around the map anymore, so adding this item so a summer theme just doesn't make sense.

Boom Box

The Boom Box was one of the most annoying items to encounter in Fortnite. It was a quick "no building" item for both enemies and friendlies during a fight. You couldn't throw the item very far, meaning your own team would be affected by it as well.

The Boom Box was a terrible addition to Fortnite, and I can't see Epic bringing it back. They have done stranger things, however.

Quad Launcher

The unvaulting of the Quad Launcher wouldn't be overly surprising to many players, but Epic has made some recent efforts to limit the number of explosives available in Fortnite.

As it stands now, we have the Grenades, Grenade Launcher, Proximity Launcher, and Rocket Launcher.

Adding the Quad Launcher to this mix would be a bit much, even for just a day. This was one of - if not the - most powerful explosive weapons in Fortnite, and should remain in the vault.

Shopping Cart/ATK

Many players and fans are predicting that the planes are going to make their way back into the game during the 14 Days of Summer event. It's a good prediction and one that very well may come to pass.

Shopping carts have always been useless, though. They were the first vehicle added to Fortnite and did virtually nothing other than make for a few cool clips.

ATKs, on the other hand, served a unique purpose. They remain the only ground vehicle Epic ever added that can carry a whole squad.

Still, there is enough mobility in Fortnite right now. Epic even took a step to limit the mobility in Fortnite by vaulting the Rift-to-Go in the most recent content update, so I'd be surprised to see the ATKs come back.

Other unlikely unvaultings

Some of the other unlikely unvaultings include:

  • Shadow Stones
  • Boom Bow
  • Dual Pistols
  • Zapotron
  • Dynamite
  • Chiller Grenade
  • Chiller
  • Jump Pad
  • Submachine Gun
